Before visiting Bali, words that crossed my mind included surfing, yoga retreats, and jungles; but shopping, that was far from what I had expected. Believe it or not, the exotic island is a great shopping destination that is way too underrated. I personally bought a lot of garments from Bali that I’m so in love with.
Below, I’ll be sharing with you my favorite Balinese stores, some items that I’ve bought, hidden gems, and shopping malls you can also go to.
My Favorite Stores
The shopping destination is packed with stores that are just out of this world; here are my top picks:
Suen Noaj
This store will surely boost your wanderlust levels as it did to mine. You’ll definitely leave with at least a t-shirt or two.
Love Bali Tees
Want a t-shirt that screams “from Bali with love”? Then this is your place to go! Not just that but Love Bali Tees donates 1% from the proceeds of every t-shirt to the Bali Fresh Water Protection project.
We Like Bali
Started off as a blog, soon it launched its online shop where merch is sold. I hunted down this “Take Me to Bali” t-shirt online and picked it up from Kynd Community, which happens to be my favorite vegan café in Seminyak.
French Toast
This store offers a wide variety of clothing with great deals and discounts. All items are of really good quality and prices are extremely affordable. From casual attire to beach and sports wear, you name it.
The Prisoners of St. Petersburg
Super high quality and not so hefty price tags, this place has a lot in store for fashionable shoppers. I bought two flashy fanny packs that came in handy there. They also have a super cool collection of shades.
Other Stores
The following stores are ones I stumbled upon, really liked, but haven’t bought anything from. However, you should really check them out.
- Lost in Paradise
- Religion
- Bamboo Blonde
- Sol & Luna
Shopping Malls
Shopping destination without malls? Doesn’t work that way. Here are a few of the biggest shopping malls on the island:
- Beachwalk Shopping Centre
- Discovery Shopping Mall
- Seminyak Village
- Mall Bali Galleria
Where to find hidden gems?
Malls and stores aren’t the only thing that make Bali the ultimate shopping destination in the region. Local sellers offer the finest of hidden gems! Here’s where to find them:
Ubud Market
Be it souvenirs or beach wear, this is your go-to! Bargain as much as you wish, but I bet you’ll leave without spending your last Indonesian rupiah.
Monkey Forest Road
Down the road from the famed Monkey Forest, you’ll find lots of stores where you might want to check out as well. It’s a walking distance from the market anyway.
Seminyak Flea Market
From rings and accessories to stylish bikinis, you’ll stumble upon awesome findings at the flea market in Seminyak. There’s a wide variety of products and of course, you can bargain!

I am glad you found my post helpful! French Toast is amazing and the quality is actually very good, I bought a lot of things from there!
This is so great to know! We are heading to Bali in November and I need some more high-quality pieces
for my capsule wardrobe. Every piece has to count ha ha
Haha! One’s also gotta dress for the Gram, right? You’re going to love Bali! You’ll find a lot of Bali posts on my blog, check them out, they shuld be helpful 🙂
Wow I didn’t know this, so interesting! Thanks for sharing.
Anytime 🙂 Bali’s stereotyped for being a honeymooners ONLY destination and that not being true, I make sure to reflect that..
