place (Lagos, so just a bit further west than Portimao). After years of planning every little bit of the
journey, booking it section by section, worrying about getting the right booking in the right time slot so
everything fits, this was bliss. Everything organised, all I had to do was get to the UK airport in time!
Maybe I’m just getting too old to want to do ALL of the travel planning!
The downside was the loss of flexibility – but as my other half likes to have everything planned to the nth
degree, it was worth it.
