I agree with everything you wrote. I
stayed in Paris as a solo a few years
back. I stayed in Pigalle and loved it,
but could see especially at night I
needed to keep a close watch. BTW I
got scammed with the friendship
bracelet scam at Sacré Coeur.

Great tips! I’ve never felt unsafe in Paris over the course of many trips, with time
wandering the city. That said, I’ve always followed the tips you mention of being
aware of my surroundings and keeping my valuables safe from pick pockets.
